Predictive Modeling
|
- Invented models to predict defects and defect density in
a software program before that program is ever developed. This data
mining/predictive modeling is ongoing.
- Determine trends and best practices from several dozen companies developing
software.
|
Software development
|
- Visual Basic .net and all previous versions of Visual Studio from 3-6.
- Deployed .net production level web software
- OLE, SQL, ADO.net, ASP.net, HTML
- C++, C
- XLST, XML
- DLL development
- PDA development

- A United States patent - PStiMate, 1993 patent number #5,473,741 - Method for
Determining the Time To Perform Raster Image Processing (RIP). This predictive model was
developed by extracting patterns in postscript files so as to predict the time required
for that Postscript file to Rastor Image Process.
- Project in progress to extract defect information and intelligence from code,
defect databases, requirements, design and test plans. One application will be the
ability to predict whether the software is too old to continue to use or reuse.
